About the Library
The St. Mary's County Memorial Library consists of three branches and an outreach van delivering information, books, magazines, newspapers, videos, books-on-tape, children's programs, computers, conference rooms, on-line databases and more, 57 hours per week.
We have 150,000 items in our collection. A wide area network links us with other libraries in the Southern Maryland region and state giving us access to over a million items.
Our librarians are here to help you locate the information and resources you need. If we don't have it, we'll find it and send away for it. We welcome you to visit.
St. Mary's County services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. For special needs call 301-475-2846.
